For the high-profile Atlantis The Royal resort, Philips Dynalite was selected to manage the entire lighting control – from public areas to private suites and even the iconic Skyblaze Fountain. Thanks to the scalable DyNet platform and comprehensive DALI capabilities, this large-scale project could be managed as a single, integrated system.
In total, 452 DALI networks were connected within the DyNet address range. Separate VLANs were also configured for the hotel and residential sections, in line with the client’s requirements. The entire system remains centrally and efficiently managed using System Manager software.
A project of this scale required a lighting control solution that was flexible, scalable and reliable. Two Signify-certified integrators – Tectronics and BCL Dutcotennant – collaborated closely on the system design, programming and commissioning. Dynalite was also integrated with HVAC, AV, shading and other third-party systems. Thanks to intelligent triggers (occupancy detection, scheduling, light levels…), spaces are automatically adjusted based on time of day or season – ensuring maximum comfort and energy efficiency.
