Eidra, a leading consultancy firm, relocated to a prestigious property in the heart of Stockholm, aiming to transform the six-story space into one of the most exclusive offices in the country.
Eidra’s new headquarters includes a stylish cocktail bar, a wine bar and an elegant dining hall – each with its own unique atmosphere. To enhance this architectural experience, the company required a high-end, flexible and human-centric lighting control system.
The lighting needed to adapt automatically to the time of day, while also allowing manual adjustments for meetings and events. Energy efficiency was also a key requirement: the client wanted maximum comfort without unnecessary consumption.
Technology integrator Control Department AB was brought in to bring the architect’s lighting plan to life. They selected Philips Dynalite, whose flexible structure and powerful software were ideally suited for this type of high-end office project.
The entire building was programmed with logical and intuitive lighting scenes, easily operated through System Manager. Staff can quickly switch between work lighting, reception ambiance, or evening moods – by floor or by room. Daylight sensors ensure optimal lighting levels during the day, while warm, welcoming atmospheres are created in the evening.
The building manager can recall scenes and fine-tune settings using System Manager, while energy usage is continuously monitored and optimized through logging and reporting. Thanks to a service contract, the system remains perfectly aligned with user needs at all times.
Control Department successfully translated a strong interior concept into an intuitive and aesthetically refined lighting system that balances luxury, ease of use and energy efficiency.
The result? A stunning workplace named “Sweden’s Most Beautiful Office 2024” and honored with Dynalite Partner Awards in the categories of Office Application and Human-Centric Design – a project that seamlessly connects technology with experience.
